DONATE

ADRA Núcleo Araguaia operates on Bananal Island, serving both Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities through healthcare services, socio-educational activities, and improvements to community infrastructure.

Driven by volunteers from diverse backgrounds — doctors, teachers, builders, dentists, cooks, and more — who dedicate their time and talents to changing lives.

With love and purpose, we work together to build lasting solutions for those who need them most.

Our Recent Projects

AWIRE

The Awire Project supports the personal and social development of Indigenous children and adolescents by introducing contemporary topics into their reality within a transcultural context. It encourages dialogue, critical thinking, and new ways of expressing their needs and emotions. Through activities such as academic support, physical education, psychology, and social communication, Awire works to guide Indigenous youth toward positive life paths and opportunities—away from violence and alcohol use.

AdoleSente

The Adole-Sente Project offers weekly activities that blend learning, emotional support, and life skills for teenagers. It empowers them to grow, discover new opportunities, and face life’s challenges with confidence.

Viver com Saúde

The "Living Healthy" Project aims to inspires healthy lifestyle habits and strengthen the culture of self-care among staff members of the Brazilian Navy’s River Agency in São Félix do Araguaia. Through engaging group activities in psychology and physical education, the initiative helps reduce risks linked to mental health issues, preventable chronic diseases, and harmful lifestyle choices.
